About Floristry & Flowers by Fiona
Inspired by Nature, Flowers and Community
I grew up on a farm in Gloucestershire and always felt deeply connected to the soil, the sky, the weather and changing seasons.
When I decided to make a move away from a successful career as an NHS consultant  a new path emerged ahead of me. I wanted to grow my own flowers, turn my love of floral design into a business and learn more about the environmental impact of the flower industry.
The result is my small business, Floristry & Flowers by Fiona.
Every step has been a joy, including the difficult ones. I learn something new every day and continue to be inspired by the flowers I grow, the people I meet and the conversations shared along the way.

The Teenage Team
These three fantastic humans have worked hard, played hard and laughed loud whilst helping create the cutting garden. Full of energy, direction and boundless joy they have inspired and rewarded me and often kept me going with their wonderful enthiusiasm.
Sasha and Clover
Sasha helps with digging, fetching and carrying and also enjoys the retail side of the business.
Her mum, Clover, manages the important schedule of meals, snacks and treats.
The Dutch Spotted Sheep
We keep a small flock of pedigree Dutch Spotted sheep.
Their fleeces are used throughout the garden and in selected floral work. Fleece makes an excellent natural mulch, weed suppressant and slug deterrent. It can also be spun or felted for use in creative designs.
Grower, florist, designer, sheep keeper and enthusiastic flower lover.
Fiona is responsible for growing, sourcing and arranging the flowers, meeting customers and developing each bespoke design.
